When fire swept through Young United Church in 1987, it destroyed the building but not the spirit of the church. It was from that spirit that Crossways in Common was born.

Artemis Housing Co-op is a unique housing concept. Members collectively make decisions on the management of their property. The Co-op gives priority to individuals who are HIV positive or living with AIDS.
Hope Mennonite Church is a Christian congregation meeting in Young United’s sanctuary, whose theological roots are in the Anabaptist-Mennonite tradition. Hope Mennonite celebrates the mystery of God’s grace and responds by striving to follow Jesus Christ into a life dedicated to peace with justice.
Day Nursery Centre is a child-care facility which emphasizes individual growth for all children by promoting a safe, healthy, and caring learning environment through its dedication to the family and the community in Winnipeg.
In partnership with All Saints’ Anglican Church and Young United Church, West Broadway Community Services Inc. (WBCS) provides a safe, accepting environment in which services and programs are offered by the West Broadway Community Ministry. These services and programs seek to respond to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals and families within the West Broadway neighbourhood.
